Trick or Treat! DIY Trick or Treat Bag -

Have you ever been so busy, and had so many things going through your head that time seems like information technology literally flew by? Yeah? Well, that was this week. Sewing projects, "preschool," altogether present making, birthday party, pumpkin party, lunch with friends, doctor appointment, etc. All all of a sudden I realize that Halloween is Sat! Koa and Kai both have costumes, so that role is done. Phew! And we don't hand out candy, cuz our neighborhood is lame, so we go trick or treating with friends. Now, every kid needs something to agree all that candy. When I was a child, we grabbed a pillowcase and tried to encounter who could fill theirs up the well-nigh. Koa is a little small to hold a pillowcase, and I am in no mood to brave Walmart earlier Halloween for ane of those plastic things. And so, instead, I made him his very own treat bag! You lot can totally make 1 too in plenty of time for Halloween.

Materials:
calorie-free weight canvas bag ( any size you want. I did a 14in x 16in)
Fabric ink
small paintbrush
- I but typed "Trick or Care for" into a word document using a fun font and made it every bit big as I could on the paper. Print it out. (I did it in grayscale to salvage ink 😉 )
- Identify the paper within the bag, make certain you can see through it. Now, if you choose to utilise a thicker canvas handbag, and you won't be able to trace it through the fabric, apply this technique instead.
- Using your fabric ink and paintbrush, trace the words. Ta Da! I free handed the pumpkin.

And then, plainly, I have become a trivial tad obsessed with this fabric ink stuff. I even made my own "costume." OK, so it's a shirt, but its the "mom" version of a costume. I even made a little witch hat clip to go with it. That totally makes information technology a costume!
So, every bit Halloween approaches, be rubber, make some pumpkin cookies or caramel popcorn, carve pumpkins and enjoy some sweet time with friends. Be safe and take fun. And delight cross fingers that Koa makes it to Saturday. Poor kid has been sick every bit a canis familiaris every other Halloween. Hopefully this 1 he volition get to enjoy! Can't await to share pics of his costume next week! It's awesome!!
